Our physical therapists work in the hospital acute care setting, outpatient setting, and with the residents at Lefa L. Seran skilled nursing facility. The MGGH Physical Therapy Department offers services 7 days a week with 2 teams of providers

Mission Statement: Provide residents of Mineral County and adjacent communities with quality physical therapy services to optimize their ability to function within society by addressing prevention, wellness, rehabilitation, as well as maintenance across the lifespan in a variety of settings.

Physical therapy encompasses a wide range of service areas aimed at restoring or optimizing movement and function in individuals affected by injury, illness, or disability. These areas include, but are not limited to, orthopedic, post-op, neurological, geriatric, neck and back pain, general weakness, balance and dizziness, worker’s comp, and sports-related conditions.

Orthopedic Physical Therapy: Focuses on musculoskeletal conditions, including injuries to bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons, often involving post-surgical rehabilitation and pain management.

Neurological Physical Therapy: Addresses conditions affecting the nervous system, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease, aiming to improve motor control, balance, and functional mobility.

Geriatric Physical Therapy: Focuses on the unique needs of older adults, addressing age-related changes in mobility, balance, and strength to maintain independence and prevent falls.
