Mt. Grant General Hospital has an opening for Per Diem Homemaker. Individual should be confident, compassionate, willing to learn and interested in caring for the elderly and able to demonstrate good housekeeping skills. The selected applicant will work with minimal supervision providing homemaking services such as general housekeeping, shopping, mail pickup, and occasional bath assist. Mileage is reimbursed bi-weekly.
Any combination in training, education, and experience that would provide the knowledge and abilities.
A typical way to gain the required knowledge and ability is:
High School Diploma or its equivalency AND
Must have a registered motor vehicle, ability to drive with a current Nevada State driver’s license with insurance as required by the laws of Nevada AND
Able to maintain current certification in CPR and First Aid AND
participate in annual mandatory training AND
Per NRS 449.174 and NRS 200.5091, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks.
Experience in Housekeeping duties, laundry and elder care preferred.
