Monthly Activities & Resident Programming

We offer a full calendar of events and activities designed to inspire involvement, movement, and connection. These programs are tailored to our residents’ interests and needs and include:

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Group & Individual Exercise

  • Reading and Current Events Discussions

  • Music, Games & Bingo

  • Intergenerational Programs with Local Youth

  • Field Trips (when weather and staffing allow)

  • Non-Denominational Sunday Programs

  • Monthly Resident Council Meetings

  • Birthday Celebrations & Themed Parties

  • Community Outings and Cultural Events

Our monthly Activity Calendar is posted throughout the facility and made available to families and residents to encourage participation.

Volunteer With Us

Volunteers play a vital role in the lives of our residents. Whether you’re reading to someone one-on-one, joining a game of trivia, or simply providing companionship, your time makes a difference.

Ways You Can Help:

  • Adopt-a-Grandparent visiting

  • Assist with scheduled events like parties or bingo

  • Read or write with residents

  • Play an instrument or sing

  • Help with walks or group exercise

  • Join our Distinguished Visitor Program for flexible, casual visits

Volunteers receive training and support from our staff and must complete a brief application and orientation before getting started. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. For more information, contact our Activities Department below.

Volunteer Orientation & Resources

To prepare our volunteers for meaningful service, orientation includes:

  • Resident Rights & Communication Training

  • Infection Control & Emergency Protocols

  • Wheelchair Safety & Mobility Support

  • Active Listening & Privacy Guidelines

  • Annual TB and Flu Screenings

Volunteers are also invited to attend our annual Volunteer Recognition Barbecue, where we celebrate their invaluable contributions.
