FT Dietary Aide

Mt. Grant General Hospital is accepting applications for the positions of Full Time Dietary.

The Full Time Dietary Aide works on a Full Time basis and will be eligible for benefits (PERS Retirement, Paid Vacation & Sick Leave, 12 Paid Holidays, etc).  This position will be trained in the dietary aide and cook positions.  Duties include preparing patient meal trays and special diet requirements, nourishment preparation, dishwashing, clean up and preparation of tray service for the next meal. 

Applicant must have the ability to multitask, follow state and federal mandated regulations in regards to food preparation and storage, work well with the public and other staff members, as well as be organized and dependable. 

Minimum qualifications are any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and ability such as:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Per NRS 449 and NRS 200, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks. 
• Institutional food preparation experience preferred
• Food Handler’s Card is preferred
• Incumbent may be required to obtain ServSafe Certification in the first 30 days of employment.
