Mt. Grant General Hospital is accepting applications for the position of SNF Assistant Director of Nursing

The SNF Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for maintaining standards of care in the facility.  The SNF Director of Nursing performs such duties as completing MDSs and care plans, providing coverage on the floor as the charge nurse, planning and coordinating nursing services, helps manage staffing and scheduling, policy formulation, and assisting with administrative decisions. This position reports to the Director of Nursing

Minimum qualifications are any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and ability such as:

• Possess and maintain a current RN license in the State of Nevada AND
• Maintain current certification in CPR AND
• Per NRS 449 and NRS 200, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks AND
• Experience with long term care and MDS preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience including Charge Nurse
• Must be fluent in Point Click Care EMR, payroll based systems, Office 365, and Microsoft Office
