Regional Behavioral Health Coordinator for Southern Region

Nevada Rural Hospital Partners (NRHP) is pleased to announce an opportunity to join our dynamic team of rural healthcare professionals as Regional Behavioral Health Coordinator for the Southern Region (“Southern RBHC”). NRHP is a voluntary consortium of 13 rural and frontier Critical Access Hospitals and their affiliated Rural Health Clinics and distinct part Long Term Care units.

About this position:

This is a full-time, benefited, 100% grant funded position that supports the education and assistance of various initiatives, programs and activities related to behavioral health in the Southern Behavioral Health Region (Mineral, Esmerelda, and Lincoln Counties and Tonopah) with the possibility to work remotely.

In addition, the position provides technical assistance to the Southern Regional Behavioral Health Policy Board through coordination and support of Board meetings and initiatives.

Travel to Mineral, Esmerelda and Lincoln Counties, Tonopah and Reno are required.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this position has a working knowledge of behavioral health, substance abuse and opioid disorders with strong verbal and written communications, consensus building, community-focused and technologically savvy skills. Grant knowledge and/or candidates living in the Southern Behavioral Health Region (Mineral, Esmerelda, Lincoln Counties or Tonopah) is highly desirable.
