Patient Account Rep/PBX Operator
Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, the Patient Account Rep/PBX Operator performs patient admissions, payment entry, switchboard coverage, insurance billing, insurance and patient collections and other duties associated with the Front Office. Applicants must be self-motivated, accurate when performing daily duties, able to multi-task, and work well with the public. Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.
Minimum qualifications are any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and ability such as:
High School Diploma or its equivalency AND
Proficiency in PC computers and applicable spreadsheet software AND
Two years of experience in clerical/office support work AND/OR
Education at the high school or post-high school level in English, spelling, keyboarding, computers, business, or office practice AND
Per NRS 449.174 and NRS 200.5091, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks.
Insurance billing experience preferred.
